1- Bi complexes : high luminescence QY and MCL properties
bipyridine-N-oxide  and Bi3+ or Pb2+ based materials;            solid state Quantum Yields (QY) up to 85%;       phosphorescence ;       reversible Mechanochromic Luminescence (MCL) properties ;                 [first bismuth based MCL complexes]

2- Coordination Polymers and Porous CPs viologen based materials: photochromism, sensors and gas storage
a)  viologen-carboxylate ligands;  donor(guest)-acceptor(viologen) interactions ;  sensor applications ;     ammonia storage.   
b) methylviologen chlorobismuthate hybrids   ;     photochromic properties ;     key parameters (anionic oligomer size, Cl/V ratio,...)

3- Hybrid Perovskites: ferroelectricity, NLO properties and Crystal engineering
a) hybrid ferroelectrics (MV)[M(III)X5] (MV2+ methylviologen, M= Bi, Sb; X= Cl, Br, I) ;        (MV)[BiI3Cl2] : polarization curve with ideal hysteresis and saturated polarization of 15 mC.cm-2  at 298K        [record in the field of hybrid ferroelectrics].
b) acentric iodometallate anions (ns2 lone pair stereoactivity) and conformationally chiral  disulfide molecule ;      switchable SHG properties    
c) hybrid perovskites ((R-NH3)2M(II)I4 (R= alkyl, M=Sn, Pb));       reducing the VB-CB gap (limiting the distorsions of inorganic layers) by selecting suitable organic cations ;            hydrogen and halogen bonding;       [results summarized in an invited article (Highlight )in CrysEngComm].
