Laboratory Overview
The MOLTECH-Anjou Laboratory (a joint CNRS-University of Angers research unit) brings together the expertise of 80 people, including nearly 50 CNRS researchers, academic researchers, engineers, and technical staff, as well as around 30 doctoral and post-doctoral researchers.
The scientific activity of the MOLTECH-Anjou Laboratory focuses on the development of molecular materials, whether organic or hybrid organic-inorganic, supporting high-visibility research areas such as organic electronics, stimuli-responsive materials, nanostructuring, and materials for energy.
Five research teams combine their expertise in theoretical and computational chemistry, organic and inorganic synthesis, coordination and supramolecular chemistry, physical and analytical chemistry, materials design, and photonics. Four teams are affiliated with the CNRS National Institute of Chemistry (INC), while the fifth is part of the CNRS National Institute of Physics (CIMI - SCL - PulSAr - VoltEdge - SAMSON).
