Narcis Avarvari received his PhD in Chemistry in 1998 from the Ecole Polytechnique, Paris, under the supervision of Prof. François Mathey and Dr. Pascal Le Floch, working in phosphinine chemistry. After a one-year postdoctoral stay at the ETH Zürich with Prof. Hansjörg Grützmacher, he obtained in 1999 a CNRS permanent research position at the IMN in Nantes, and then he moved in 2001 to the University of Angers. He was promoted in 2010 as CNRS Director of Research (DR2), then DR1 in 2016, and he held between 2009 and 2022 an associate professor position at the Ecole Polytechnique, Paris. He was awarded with the 2007 Prize of the French Chemical Society, Coordination Chemistry Division, 2007 “Gheorghe Spacu” medal of the Romanian Chemical Society and he held invited professor positions at the University of Lund, Sweden (2013), the University Babes-Bolyai, Cluj-Napoca, Romania (2016) and at the Institute for Molecular Science (IMS), Okazaki, Japan (2022-2023). In 2020 he was elected member of the European Academy of Sciences (EurASC), Chemistry Division (https://www.eurasc.eu/). He is currently developing various projects related to molecular materials derived from tetrathiafulvalenes, metal dithiolene complexes, functional helicenes and coordination polymers, coordination chemistry with nitrogen based ligands, and chirality related topics.

Cécile Mézière obtained a Technical University Degree (DUT) in chemistry in 1992 and a Master degree (DEA) in chemistry and physicochemistry of polymers at the Maine University in Le Mans in 1995. After six years at the Materials Institute of Nantes as assistant engineer CNRS, she moved to the chemistry laboratory of the University of Angers in 2002 and evolved as study engineer in 2007. Since 2012, she is the prevention assistant of the Unit (AP). Her research topic deals with the engineering of functional molecular systems, metals and molecular superconductors.     

Magali Allain has followed a university course at the University of Le Mans (France) where she obtained her research Master degree (DEA) in solid state chemistry in 1996. Then she has been recruited as study engineer in 1998 at the University of Angers (France) in the organic chemistry laboratory (Moltech-Anjou). She succeeded in becoming a research engineer in 2021 and she obtained her PhD degree in materials science in 2022 under the supervision of Dr Marc Fourmigué (University of Rennes 1, France). She is responsible of the CRISTAL platform at the SFR MATRIX (Federative Research Structure in materials) where she is the crystallographer in charge of three X-ray diffractometers (single crystal and powder) and of most of the refinement of crystalline structures in the laboratory. She is also responsible of two thermal analysis equipments (TGA and DSC).     

Flavia Pop obtained her PhD in 2009 (Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania and University of Angers, France) under the joint supervision of Prof. I. Grosu and Dr. J. Roncali. She has continued her research with a postdoc position in the fields of molecular and supramolecular materials (group of Dr. N. Avarvari, MOLTECH-Anjou, France), working on tetrathiafulvalene based chiral conducting materials, covalent donor-acceptor systems and chiral supramolecular aggregates. After a second postdoc working on diketopyrrolopyrrole based chiral chromophores and their aggregation for active materials in solar cells (group of Prof. D. B. Amabilino, The University of Nottingham, UK) she has been recruited as researcher (CR) by the CNRS in 2017 at MOLTECH-Anjou laboratory. Her research activity is focussing on chiral molecular materials and the properties arising the association of chirality with conductivity, light absorption and emission and/or magnetic field.

Nicolas Zigon received his Ph.D. degree in 2013 from the University of Strasbourg, under the supervision of Pr. Mir Wais Hosseini studying molecular turnstiles and metallo-organic networks. He started in 2014 a postdoctoral internship as a JSPS fellow in the group of Pr. Makoto Fujita working at the development of the crystalline sponge method, and completed his training in supramolecular chemistry and supramolecular polymerisation in the laboratory of Pr. Frank Würthner as a Humboldt Postdoctoral fellow. In 2017, he was recruited as an associate professor at the University of Angers. Investigating the interactions between magnetism, conductivity and chirality - more specifically in coordination polymers and helicene derivatives - is his major research theme.

Maurizio Mastropasqua Talamo received his PhD in Chemistry at University of Bari (Italy) in 2015, under the supervision of Prof. G. M. Farinola with a thesis on synthetic and biomimetic polyaromatic materials for organic optoelectronics. He joined the group of Dr. P. Blanchard at MOLTECH-Anjou as a postdoctoral researcher, working on conjugated organic materials for sensing applications. In 2018 he moved to the group of Dr. N. Avarvari where he started working on the synthesis of chiral organic conjugated materials with an interest on their chiroptical, magneto-chiral and spin-selective properties. From 2020 to 2022 he was assistant professor in chemistry at the University of Angers.     

Yohan Chéret obtained a PhD in molecular chemistry and materials from the University of Angers in 2021. He was working on the preparation of multifunctional polyimine ligands and complexes for (non)linear optics. He then started a post-doctoral contract for the preparation of porous and electroactive metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).     

Nataliya Plyuta received her B.Sc. (2014) and M.Sc. (2016) degrees from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. In December 2020, she defended her PhD thesis in co-tutelle between University of Angers and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, under the supervision of Dr. Narcis Avarvari and Prof. Vladimir Kokozay. Since Avril 2022, she carries out a post-doctoral position in CIMI group and works on syntheses of mono- and polynuclear complexes with luminescent and magnetic properties.     

Ryota Nakajima received his PhD degree (Institute for Molecular Science, The Graduate University for Advanced Studies), under the supervision of Prof. Hiroshi M. Yamamoto in 2023. He joined the CIMI team as a CNRS postdoctoral researcher. His research activity is devoted to the development of new chiral molecular materials.

Fabio Manna received his Bachelor (2018) and Master (2020) degrees from University of Cagliari. He’s currently PhD student under the co-supervision of Dr. Narcis Avarvari (Angers) and Prof. Maria Laura Mercuri (Cagliari). He works on the synthesis of new redox-active MOFs based on tetrathiafulvalene and benzoquinone linkers and Ln^III- or d-transition metal ions, with magnetic, conducting and luminescent properties, and on chiral MOFs for Chiral Induced Spin Selectivity, Circularly Polarized Luminescence and Single-Molecule Magnet properties for spintronic applications.

Federica Solano obtained a degree in chemistry from the Turin university in 2018, followed by a master's degree in environmental chemistry. In 2020, she moved to France as PhD candidate in the CIMI group, where she works under the supervision of Dr. Narcis Avarvari and Dr. Nicolas Zigon on electroactive coordination networks based on tetrathiafulvalene ligands.     

Clémence Cazals obtained a 2-year technical degree in chemistry from Orsay IUT in 2019, followed by a Bachelor degree in chemistry in 2020 from Paris-Saclay University. After that, she obtained a Master degree in Inorganic, Physical and Solid chemistry in 2022 from Paris-Saclay University. In 2022, she started her PhD under the supervision of Pr. Nicolas Mercier (Moltech-Anjou, Angers University) and Dr. Romain Gautier (IMN, Nantes) on Congruent Melting Halide Perovskites for Lighting Applications.  
   

Yuliia Oleksii obtained a degree in chemistry from Vasyl' Stus Donetsk National University in 2020, followed by a master's degree in 2022 in chemistry from Vasyl' Stus Donetsk National University and a master's degree in Green chemistry from University Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier. In 2022 she started her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Abdelkrim El-Ghayoury on Electro and/or photoactive metallosupramolecular architectures for applications in optoelectronics.

Maria Maniadi obtained her bachelor degree (2021) and master degree (2023) in Material Science and Technology from the University of Crete. In 2023, she started her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Nicolas Mercier and the co-supervision of Dr. Alexandre Abhervé on the synthesis and characterization of 2D halide double perovskites for optoelectronic applications. 

Maxime Poulain received his Bachelor (2017) from University of Nantes and Master (2023) degrees from University of Angers. He’s currently PhD student under the co-supervision of Dr. Narcis Avarvari and Dr. Flavia Pop. He works on the synthesis of helicene substituted diketopyrrolopyrrole.
