Summary of VoltEdge Team Activities
Created in January 2024, the VoltEdge team brings together organic and physical chemists with the aim of developing a fundamental methodology based on electrochemical methods.
The main objective is to establish relationships between the structure and properties of organic monolayers and multilayers deposited on carbon or metallic substrates. The team focuses on analyzing the conservation or modification of properties observed in solution when molecules are confined to a surface. This approach is applied to the study of interfacial reactivity, including electrocatalysis, electrochemical transduction, etc.
In parallel, the team is developing modeling tools and specific instrumentation, such as spectroelectrochemical measurement benches, to characterize these materials at the nanoscale.
